The Turfgrass Science team will be at the 2023 Minnesota State Fair starting Thursday, August 24 through Labor Day, September 4. We will be there all 12 days from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) wing (southwest hall) of the Agriculture Horticulture building located on the corner of Judson Avenue and Underwood Street.
Have you visited us in the past? We have exciting news! Our display for 2023 is newly re-designed with beautiful wall graphics, new kiosks with a focus on the most asked questions from previous years, and many newly revised handouts!
Come visit our exhibit to learn about low-input lawns, how to deal with droughts and bee lawns. We will also be available to answer any of your lawn questions from finding the right grass seed to controlling weeds. Our presence at the fair is due to a partnership with the Metropolitan Council on the Twin Cities Lawn Irrigation Efficiency Study. We hope to see you at the fair!
