Undergraduate Studies

Our Plant Science degree provides students with an excellent education in turfgrass science.  All students take courses in the core curriculum and then, with consultation from a faculty adviser, design their own program of study that suits their educational needs and career goals.  For more information about the program or for information about applying, please visit the Plant Science major website.

Graduate Studies

Students interested in graduate study in turfgrass science have two options depending on their ultimate career goals.  For those students that already have an undergraduate degree in another discipline, and desire to enter the turfgrass management profession, we provide the Master of Professional Studies in Horticulture.  For students interested in Masters of Science or Ph.D. programs, we offer the Applied Plant Sciences graduate program.

Continuing Education

Currently, we offer Roadside Turfgrass Installation and Management as self-paced training via the course management system, Canvas through University of Minnesota Extension.
