The mortality of mankind, along with University restrictions, have together brought us to the decision to cancel the every-other-year University of Minnesota Turf and Grounds Field Day that was to be held in August. This is the first time we will have not hosted a field day since the halcyon days of 2019. We look forward to hosting the event once again in August 2021. In the meantime our hard-working turfgrass research team will continue to design interesting experiments, collect data, ask for money, maintain plots, and communicate with you in other ways through the written word and ubiquitous online presentation. In the next few weeks, you can continue to read research updates on our blog and consider registering for an upcoming five-part webinar series on reducing water use on home lawns led by Shane Evans and other members of our group.
