New Extension Educator - Turfgrass

We are happy to announce that Maggie Reiter has accepted the position of Extension Educator - Turfgrass with University of Minnesota Extension. Maggie has been with University of California Cooperative Extension since 2016. Prior to that, she earned both her undergraduate and Master’s degrees at the University of Minnesota. Maggie has done an excellent job building a turfgrass Extension program in her current position in central California, and we are excited for her to build upon prior Extension efforts in Minnesota.

Brent Hulke focused on improving winter hardiness in perennial ryegrass. He finished his Ph.D. in 2007 and then joined the USDA-ARS to lead their sunflower breeding program in Fargo, ND.
