
Registration is open for our first UMN Turfgrass Field Day of 2025! The WinterTurf Field Day will be held Tuesday, April 15 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. If you are a golf course superintendent or a turfgrass manager interested in mitigating winter stress, this field day is for you!
Highlights include:

- Does late fall topdressing reduce winter damage?
- WinterTurf sensing update
- Impact of light on recovery from winter damage
- Dormant seeding strategies
- Ice encasement of annual bluegrass
- Is root shearing a problem on greens during spring thaw?
This year we will have special guest speakers Paul Koch (University of Wisconsin), Kevin Frank (Michigan State University) and Michelle DaCosta (University of Massachusetts)!
