Dr. Dan Sandor will be speaking about irrigation technology and lawn management practices to reduce water requirements at the 2019 Minnesota Efficient Irrigation Summit. This event will be held on March 28, 2019 from 9:30am to 2:30pm in Eagan, MN. Register by March 11, 2019.
The Regional Optimization of Roadside Turfgrass Seed Mixtures project led by Dr. Eric Watkins investigated turfgrasses for traits necessary to survive the harsh conditions of heat, salt and ice cover on Minnesota roadsides. The full report on this project is available through the University of Minnesota's Center for Transportation Studies. This project was sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota Local Road Research Board.
