The UMN Turfgrass Science team with Rutgers University, Purdue University, USDA-ARS, Oregon State University, and the University of Wisconsin are collaborating on a project called "Increasing Low-Input Turfgrass Adoption Through Breeding, Innovation, and Public Education", from the USDA-NIFA through the Specialty Crop Research Initiative. As part of this project, we have a dedicated website, Low Input Turf Using Fine Fescues, where we’ve recently started a new blog.  This blog will be a great resource to learn more about almost every aspect of fine fescues - breeding, management practices, land manager perceptions, physiology and much more! Start reading now and follow the project Twitter account @LowInputTurf to never miss a new article.
