Registration is open for our first UMN Turfgrass Field Day of 2026! The WinterTurf Field Day will be held Wednesday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you are a golf course superintendent or a turfgrass manager interested in mitigating winter stress, this field day is for you!
Highlights include:
- What did this winter mean for stress?
- WinterTurf sensors update
- Using remote sensing to better predict winter injury
- What are the latest dormant seeding strategies
- Ice encasement of perennial ryegrass and annual bluegrass
- Root shearing and spring thaw
